Various opportunities in the global economic environment, along with other factors, have made immigration one of the choices Iranians make in their life path. But immigration never means cutting off roots from the homeland. Physically leaving the soil where we were born, socialized, made friends, rejoiced, and shed tears never means we are no longer yearning for a nostalgic repetition of our memories. Along with lived experience and memories, language, as a social construct, creates shared identities for us that are reproduced only through the conversation we have with our fellow speakers. For example, a memory that comes to an Iranian when he/she smells apples next to hyacinths can never be transferred to someone of another culture or nationality These shared lived experiences, along with language, teach us that although we have emigrated from our homeland, our affinity for repeating memories still exists.

The Dubai Iranian Club is an opportunity for all Iranians who are looking to have a touch of their homeland in their lives while abroad. On the other hand, the formation of immigrant communities in a second country can lead to the growth and strengthening of professional communication networks and the improvement of an individual’s financial strength. The Iranian Club is trying to strengthen the ideal image of the homeland that is imprinted in the minds of Iranians. A sense of cooperation and empathy, altruism, rich ancient culture, and love for our fellow countrymen are among the values that we strive to adhere to as we move forward. My colleagues and I are honored to host you. Being able to bring a smile to your face or untie your sorrow is a human mission that we have defined for ourselves, regardless of any organization or position. We strive to be, in a word, a homeland for those who have chosen exile.
